WANGANUI, 16th February

Michael Lilies, single, aged 35, a native of County Clare, Ireland, was. drowned in the "Waitotara River near the unemployed camp last evening. Mr. Lilies went for a swim! in the evening and did hot return. A search resulting in tho discovery of his "body, was made this morning. ■■■'■'.

Tlie deceased arrived in the camp last Saturday with a number of other unemployed men from Napier.
