"The Fall and Riso of Susan Lenox," a well-directed, beautifully photographed film of the well-known novel, is tlie latest vehicle of Greta Garbo now at the Do Luxe Theatre. "Surrender," based on Pierre Benolfs novel "Axelle," will open at the De Luxe on Friday. It is a drama of uncompromising truth depicting the conflict between a woman's love for a man and loyalty to her country. The girl is betrothed to the son of a rutired Prussian general, but she falls in love with a French prisoner of war who has been detailed to work on the old general's crumbling estate. Warner Baxter portrays the leading role, and the beautiful Leila Hyams enacts the ro'.e of the girl.
