In one of the latter, a New Zealand pair prevailed, Mrs. H. M. Dykes and Miss D. Nicholls decisively defeating Mrs. M.. Molesworth and Miss > T. Valkenburg beat Miss N. G. JVelch (Wairarapa), 6-1, 6-3. Miss N. Hall beat Miss N. M. Fleming [<Wairarapa), 6-1, .6-1.
