LOWER HUTT COURT

The fortnightly sitting of the Lower Hutt Magistrate's Court was held today, Mr. W. H. Woodward, S.M., presiding. H. O. Horlor, for failing to give way to traffic on his right when coming out of Huiine street into the Hutt road, was fined 3i2. ■ Jack Harris, for failing to pay instalments in a maintenance case, was sentenced to a month's imprisonment, release to be mado if the defendant pays the sum of £5 ss.
