HUTT VALLEY BANNER

UPPER HUTT'S WIN

The final round of the Hiitt Valley Banner Competition was played on Saturday afternoon on the valley, club greens. • The weather was ideal and the greens were generally in excellent order. Upper Hutt gained a substantial lead in the first two rounds, and had to win two games out of.four in the final round on Saturday to secure the banner. This the club did, and won the banner with a percentage of 75 for the three rounds, Petone was second with 58 1-3 per cent., and Central third with 46 2-3 per cent.
