UNION BANK DIVIDEND.

An interim dividend of 2s per share with respect to the year ending 29th February, 1932, has been declared by the Union Bank of Australia, Ltd., and is now payable to shareholders on the New Zealand Branch Register at Bth January, 1932, in respect of shares standing in their names on that date.

The Bank of France continues to increase its gold stocks. In the week ended 27th November there was a further addition of £1,500,000, making the total £547,130,000 (at par). The rc-ceut Canadian National Service Loan raised in Canada -was a great success, for, despite the quirk closing of the lists, 33 per cent, more than the amount required was subscribed.
