CHBISTCHURCH, This Day.

- On a charge of stealing on 21st De.•ember three lambs, .valued at £2 ss, and belonging to William James, Jof Leithfield, Frederick Arthur Hayward Penfold, a farmer, was sentenced tc four months' imprisonment by the Magistrate at Amberlcy. - The police said that the parties were neighbours.

tenfold was convicted and discharged on a second charge that ho was found in possession of eight sheepskins from which the cars had been removed.
