HONOLULU MURDER CASE
MOVE FOR DISMISSAL
HONOLULU, 28th January.
A new move to dismiss tho indictment against; Mrs. Fortescue, Lieutenant Massie, and tho two enlisted men who aro charged with tho murder of the youth Kahahawai, was mado with' tho filing of a supplementary motion by the defence to-day.
This, objects to tho foreman's action in not permitting tho grand jury to ask the county attorney to draw an indictment-for manslaughter instead of murder.
The defence late to-day entered a motion to admit tho defendants to bail. This motion" will be heard to-morrow. The Court hag ordered that all1 guns and cameras be taken from everybody except law officers at tho courtroom door at all the hearings of this case. Judgo Cristy refused-to admit Mrs. Forteseuo and tho other defendants to bail unless the Secretary .of the Navy guaranteed their appearance in Court I when required. The defendants reserved their plea until Monday.
