Williams, and at Trentham in Januaxy,;]929, when!offered at auction was purchased.on behalf of the Australian, Mrj -Wf Hadley, for 575 gns. .He was expected'to turn out a good stayer, but he has not- bten' in the money very often. His best :perforraancc was in winning tlie Deceinßer : Handicap,l one mile and a half, at Eandwick, in which he beat another former New Zealander, The Banker.
