ELECTRICAL WORKERS
AMENDED AWARD SOUGHT
Amendments are being sought by the Wellington .Electrical Workers' Union before the- Conciliation Commissioner (Mi: P. Hally). Negotiations in committee were commenced yesterday and continued to-day, but at 1.30 p.m., although progress had been made, there remained a number of clauses for discussion, decisions in regard to which have still to be .arrived at. 'Iho proceedings will conclude- to-nighv'. The union is represented by Messrs. C. S. Cowie, A, Curlew^ and-IT. Stowers. Tho employers' representatives are Messrs. C. Camp, H. Kdenan, and G. Lauchlan. Mr. W. J. Mojjutjoy appeared as agent for tho employers, and Mr. H. Swindell acted for the workers.
