HOMESTEAD DESTROYED
. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) BLENHEIM, This Day. A large homestead known as St. Leonard's, belonging to. Mr. Alex. Tucker, 'of Lower Wairau, was totally destroyed by fire, together with the contents.' The fire originated front clothes catching alight in front of the open fire. The building was insured for £500 in' the State Office and £500 in the North British Office. The contends are covered for £350 in the North British Office.
