Sir Walter Nicholson, Director of Imperial Airways, is visiting Australia in connection with the proposal to allow Imperal Airways to continue the London-India air service to Australia. He said that he intended to ascertain whether the Common wealth j Government could provide a subsidy without which the Karachi-Australia link was- impossible.
He is returning to England later through New Zealand.
