The Unemployed Workers' Movement is regarded as antagonistic- -to ise Trades Council and the whole organised industrial and political labour movement. Unemployment committees have been appointed within the labour movement, and ita accredited representatives occupy seats on. various local unemployment committees of the Unemployment Board, as well as oh bodies responsible for administering social welfare. As an integral part of trie labour movement, the Trades Council is convinced that the unemployed workers will best serve their own interests by strictly allying themselves to the movement for their common protection and betterment in all manner. ■ : ■-'■ ■
