The house flag, of the-Orient Line, a dark blue cross on a. white ground with a gold shield in the centre, was flown from tho Union Steam Ship Co. 's building to-day,' out of courtesy to' Messrs. C. S. Anderson, a director of tho line, and D."-L. Dpwdell, manager for Australia, who amVqd,by the Ulimaroa this morning from Sydney. The Orient flag is only occasionally, flown from the Union Co. 's building, usually on public holidays.
