DEATH OF M. GRAY
M. Gray, who has been connected with racing for some years in Taranaki,-took ill while at,_ Auckland with the Stratford trainer, J^Butler's; horses, and he died on Sunday in the Auckland Hospital. ■; When riding regularly' a few seasons ago Gray won races on Yoma, Poiima, and on several other well-known Taranaki horses. He was 24 years of age. His funeral took place at Auckland on Monday.
