ALARM IN QUEENSLAND
(Bcceived 13th January, 10 ajn.) BEISBANE, This Day./ Two cases of smallpox have occurred on the freighter Victoria City, iaov'anchored in Mqreton Bay;. The whole crew have been placed in quarantine. The Chief Medical Officer .of the Department of Health, Dr. Welchj stated that, as Queensland, was an unvaccinated community, its position in view of the possible occurrence of. smallpox was alarming. ;
