BOMB ON VERANDAH
OUTRAGE IN MELBOURNE
OWNER'S LUCKY ESCAPE
(Received 12th January, 11 a.m.) MELBOURNE, This Day. A bomb placed in front of tho verandah of the home of Adolph Jacobsen exploded and shattered the whole front of the house. Jacobsen was cut about the face and head. He considers it as a deliberate attempt on his life. He asserts that only a miracle saved him. He had previously received a warning.
