The Scottish Highlands, which vare clad in snow, are attracting^many holi-day-makers, who formerly were patrons of the Swiss resorts.

Bright, frosty weather, with snow in places, continues throughout Britain, and skating is proceeding in *some centres in England. Tho Newbury races have been abandoned because of frost.
