The Japanese military operations to» day consisted chiefly in consolidating the positions gained yesterday while the Chinese prepared to retreat. The Chinese are reported to ht using armoured trains, tanks, cavalry, and infantry, but are lacking in. heavy; artillery, which the Japanese ara largely employing, supported by aeroplanes.
