MORE BANKS FAIL

PHILADELPHIA, 24th December. The Citizens' National Bank Trust Company, East Landsdowne, Pennsylvania, and the Cornwell Heights State Bank, with combined resources totalling three million dollars, have closed, bringing the total number of banks shut in this area.in tho past year to 37. A message from Ashbury Park, New Jersey, states that seven banks have closed in that neighbourhood in the past two days, with to-day's closure of the Ashbury Park Bank, the .First National Bank, Bradley Beach, and the. Ocean Grove National Bank, with total resources of over 15 million dollars.
