BRIGIDINE CONVENT
A splendid programme, containing songs, dances, recitations, and two plays, was perfoimed by the children of the Brigidine Convent, Johnsonville, on the occasion; of their annual prize-giving. The Empress Theatre was thronged, and the audience almost enthusiastic one. The action-song«i were specially good, and the very amusing comedy yeiy well acted. Before the final chorus, in which the whole school took pait, Father Griffin thanked all those who had attended the concert, and also the children who had worked so hard to make the performance a success.
