OTAKI PLAYERS VISIT PETONE
Three rinks from the Otaki Club visited the Petone Central Club's green at the week-end, and it is doubtful if members have ever spent a more enjoyable outing. On arrival the visitors were heartily welcomed and provided with morning tea, after which three games on a keen green were played before the luncheon adjournment. After dinner play was resumed, and again most enjoyable matches eventuated. Afternoon tea was served, and hpie both men and ladies of the homo club bestowed every attention on the visitors. During the day Mr. Wadsworth, president of the Petone Club, tendered a warm welcome, and his remarks were endorsed by all the Petone Central Club's members.
