(From "The Post's" Representative.)
LONDON. SOU) October.
Lady Yule, widow of Sir David Yule, ■of Calcutta, is to- visit New Zealand in the near future. With her daughter, Miss Gladys Yule, she will set sail iv her private yacht, of the Eoyal Thames Yacht Club, from Cannes on 7th November. A guest on board will be the new Governor of Bombay, and the first port of. call will be Bombay. After leaving India, Lady Yule intends to call at Java and New Guinea, and she is duo to arrive, at Kussell, Bay of Islands, on 12th January. Arrangements arc. being made for her to get some sword-fishing, and she intends to remain at Bussell for at least three weeks. She has also been inquiring into the possibilities of deer stalking, with a view of obtaining a really firstclass head. Lady Yule intends to make a general tour of the country, and doubtless her splendid yacht—it is said to be ono of the largest private yachts in England —will call at all the principal ports. She has also expressed her intention of sailing round to and visiting tho West: Coast Sounds. In tho course of her career Lady Yule has hunted bears in Alaska, big game in Kenya, and she has just recently returned'from swordfishing in tho Mexicau Gulf, where she had some good catches. On board her yacht she has a 30ft launch specially-' adapted for swordfishing, but there is some doubt as to its being suitable for the bigger fish of the Auckland waters. She is thereCore making arrangements to have a local launch at her disposal. The return journey will be made by way of Tahiti and the Panama Canal. Some months ago there was a good deal published regarding the death duties, running into millions of pounds, from- the estate of th.c.late Sir David Yule. The question was whether his domicile was •ifl lVGXe.at:i3ritain.')DT in Calcutta. : ..
