KARORI SUMMER SHOW.

To mark the. first official visit of the Mayor.and Mayoress, who will open the Karori Summer Show at 3 p.m. to-mor-row in the Parish Hall, Karori, the Karori Horticultural Society is making the attractions of the show worthy of the occasion. Entries in the rose classes are being made by all the leading Wellington and Hutt Valley exhibitors, who will compete with local growers for numerous trophies and special prizes. The cut-flower classes ■will also be Veil represented.

Another feature of tho show will be competition in the decorative classes, between Hntt Valley, Wellington, and local ladies. The decorated tables at the previous show'constituted a record of thirteen entries. A flower and sweets stall will also be run by tlie laOies' committee, and afternoon tea will be available.
