LEADERS' TOURS
MR. COATES AND MR. FORBES
The Prime Minister (the Bight Hon. G. W. Forbes) will commence his North Island tour to-night. Leaving by the Limited express, ho will proceed' tomorrow morning to Stratford, where he will attend the Stratford Agricultural and Pastoral Show in the afternoon. He will then proceed to New Plymouth, where he will deliver a short address before returning in. the evening to Eltham to deliver a further speech. Mr. Forbes "vyill return to Wellington on Friday, and in the evening ho will speak at Lower Hutt. On Saturday afternoon ho will be at Otaki. On Sunday night he will depart for Auckland, where he will address a meeting ou Monday evening. He will return to Wellington on the following day, and will be here on election night. The Eight Hon. J. G. Coates, who left for the South Island last evening, is visiting various centres around Christchurch to-day, and will speak in the city this evening. To-morrow ho will speak at Timaru, Waitaki hydro-elec-tric works, and probably at Temuka, and subsequently he is to visit Waimate, returning to Wellington on Saturday morning, and will proceed to Stratford.
