LONDON, 20th November. An awesome spectacle was witnessed in Belfast at 1.20 o'clock in the morning, when llio luxury motor-liner Bermuda—a 19,000-tonncr —was on lire

Belfast Lough was lighted up and (In. Jlames were seen for miles around.
fclrangdy enough, the Bermuda was under repair because of fire damage <jn 17th Juno while lying at tho wharf at .U;imiJton, Bermuda. On that occasion it was necessary to submerge her to prevent the flames reaching her oil tanks.
Tho vessel is now only a blackened hulk. Several explosions, due to the bursting of acetylene drums, were heard miles away. Efforts to sink her failed, as it was impossible to reach the seacocks.
The Bermuda cost £1,500,000,
