"One big cat we had, who always looked ruffled, no matter how much he was brushea. I used to try and make him look respectable, but Nature had other designs, and he always looked the ragamuffin he was. He was the only eat that ever got into the house. He came through my bedroom window and found me asleep, and gently patted my face until I woke up. L the time I thought him rather clever, and let him do it every morning, until one morning he bit me instead. I think I must have flicked my eyelid or something.
