DUTCH TARIFF RAISED
FRESH TAXES ON MEAT
THE HAGUE, 18th November,
> The Lower House passed a Tariff Bill Taising duties from 8■ to 10 per cent, until 1935, and adopted various taxes on meat, including, horse-flesh also, for two ycara. These provide for 20 per cent, (a hundred kilogrammes) on fresh and chilled beef, and 7$ per cent, on frozen beef.
