It is revealed that the Maharajah of Jodhpur, winner of £.100, is not the Indian Prince, but the pseudonym of a .cat, the pet of Miss Tilley, of Twickenham. Puss was given his high-sound-ing name owing to his autocratic bearing. Miss Tilloy says: "I am certain tho Maharajah is going to win; he meowed so excitedly when I asked him this morning if he., was going to jump but of the Dublin barrel. He is always lucky. He oneo won a Christmas hamper."
