REFORM NOMINEE RETIRES

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, 19th November. Mr. "W. E. Hayward, Reform candidate for Dimedin North, announced tonight that he had decided not to accept nomination in deference to the wish of the Right Hon. J. G. Coates.

This loaves three candidates for the seat —Mr. J. W. Munro (Labour), Mr. J. M'Crao (official Coalition), and Mr. R. S. Black (Independent).
