ANOTHER ROUND OF SPEECHES

There was another round of speeches in the various electorates last night, and signs are not wanting that the interest ot the public is quickening with the approach of the poll. Mr. P. Fraser, the Labour candidate for Wellington Central, opened his campaign before a crowded audience. He was accorded a unanimous vole of thanks and confidence. The Labour candidate for Wellington Suburbs, Mr. T. Brindle, was enthusiastically received at Brooklyn, and the Independent candidate for the same constituency, Mr. K. M'Lennan, also outlined his policy at Brooklyn. .
