MRS. MILES "AT HOME"
AFTERNOON RECEPTION
Mrs. A. H. Miles was "at home" yesterday afternoon to a number of friends at her charming residence in Hobson street. Tho large reception rooms were decorated in tones of blue and pink, with large "mixed" bowls of delphiniums, lupins, and other flowers in the hall and on the tea table, and bowls of choico roses in the draw-ing-room. Mrs. Miles wore a black satin frock With vestee of champagne coloured georgette. She was assisted by her daughters, Mrs. Hughes Steele (who wore a frock of black patterned crepe do chine and a black hat), Mrs. Handysides (in a frock and coatee of leaf green printed crepe de chine and a black hat), and Mrs. Eric Kiddiford (in a black marocain frock with collar ana gauntlet cuffs of mushroom pink, and a black hat), and her daughter-in-law, Mrs. C. C. Miles (floral crepe do chine frock and coatee and a black hat with touches of beige). The many guests included Mrs. Sprott, Lady Myers, Mrs. Edward Kiddiford, Miss Brandon, Mrs. Eweii, Misses Morton, Mrs. E. Coleridge, Miss Campbell, Mrs. Walter Johnston, Lady Findlay, Miss I Skerrett, Mrs. Lan Duncan, Mrs. H. Vocel, Mrs. Bernard Wood, Mrs. Vivian Biddiford, Mrs. H. W.
