FIRE PREVENTION WEEK
Arianeelucnts have been made'by the Wellington J?ire Board for a "fire prevention week" commencing on Monday next and continuing till the following Saturday. There will 'be a- procession of fire engines through the city at 12.30 p.m. on Monday. The official opening'will take place in the evening, when addresses, will ,.he delivered by the Minister of Internal' Affairs and the Mayov. There will be several special drills during the week at the Central Fire Station; and ; .pri Thursday at 12.30 p.m. the .tugs .Toia and Terawhiti, together with fire engines, '■ will give a pumping display at the Taranaki Street Wharf.'
