PLENTY OF NOISE
COMMUNIST EXPRESSIONS
Communistic views were expressed by interjeetors at Mr. James Kerr's Alicetown meeting last night. The meeting was remarkably lively, and at one stage of the uproar Mr. Kerr stated that such -organised opposition would not do the Labour Party any good, and he felt 'sure that his opponent would not approve of it. :
Mr. Kerr appealed to electors to support a National Government, and be loyal to the country and to the Empire-— •;■■ ' ;'■■'■.; ■•■■'■•

, "She put the likes of you in your place,'' replied one of the candidate's supporters to the interjector.'
, "Don't you believo' in Britain?" asked Mr. Kerr.
"No; Britain never filled my stomach," was the reply. * Another voice: "Give, us the Bed flag.". -: .:■■ ■■•■..•;■• - . ;■■■ ■ I' 11
Aery of "They're traitors!" greeted a reference by Mr. Kerr to Eamsay Mac Donald and Philip Snowden, to which Mr. Kerr replied: "The loyal people of this , Dominion will never allow the Bod flag to rule this coun: try." Uproar and applause followed.
