MAN WHO MADE MOROCCO

ENTERTAINED IN LONDON

(British Official Wireless.)

RUGBY, 17th November.

Marshal Lyautey, who celebrated his 77th birthday to-day, is paying a short visit to London as guest of the United Associations of France and Great Britain. The "Creator of Modern Morocco" was greeted at Victoria last night by the French Ambassador, a representative of the War Office, and members of the French Colony, and later at a dinner in his honour he paid a tribute to Britain's genius for colonial administration.
