A CHANGE OF STABLES

The Southland sprinter, Palermo (Solferino—Lady Pal), who is at present one of the central figures in a libel action in Melbourne, has recently had a change of trainers. Previously he was in T. G. Pollock's stable at Riverton, but after the New Zealand Cup Meeting he was handed over to G. A. Fielding, whose headquarters are at Wingatui. Palermo failed to show his best form last week, but his time will probably come again.
