CROSSBREDS DEARER IN SYDNEY.
SYDNEY,1 IStli November. At the wool sales to-day, 11,611 bales ■were offered and 10,721 sold at auction. Also 2137 were disposed of privately. Skirtings were particularly firm, and a hardening tendency was noted for comeback and crossbreds. Greasy Merino made up to lS%d. Comeback made a fresh record of 16d, and crossbred lambs 15% d. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency, Ltd., reports London, 18th November, as follows:—Wool sales: List closed 16th November; Jtangitata, Rangitane, Remuera, Somerset, available.
