MEMORIAL AT PORT SAID

Advice has been received that the memorial being erected to tho memory of the Australian and New Zealand Mounted Division at Portj Said on the Suez Canal will be completed about Easter, 1932. A photograph of tho winning design by Mr. Web Gilbert, of Melbourne, appears on page 7 of this issue. Funds for tho memorial were obtained in the first instance by all officers, n.c.o.'s, and men of the Anzno' Mounted Division giving one day's pay. Subsequently tho Australian and New Zealand Governments added to tho fund, and the Port Said authorities gavo tho site, which is close to the entrance to.the Suez Canal.,
