MAN WITH REVOLVER
Discovering that a girl with whom he was associating had been also associating with another man; James Harold Bennett, a marine engineer, aged 34, took a revolver from a shipmate's cabin. Later he quarrelled with the girl, mentioning his rival's name.' He • then got drunk, and when he was ai rested tho revolver was found on him.
In the Magistrate's Court to-day Bennett pleaded guilty to being drunk, unlawfully carrying a pistol, and procuring a revolver and; ten rounds. o£ ammunition without a permit. He pleaded guilty, and Mr. E. Page, S.M., fined him £2 for carrying the pistol, £1 on the last charge, and convicted and discharged him for drunkenness.
