CANDIDATES MEETINGS
Mr. E. W. Nicolaus, Citizens' National Movement Independent candidate, is standing for Wellington Central, and not Wellington East, as inadvertently stated last night. Mr. Nicolaus will open his campaign in the Mokoia Hall at 8 o'clock to-night. Mr. Robert Darroch, the official Coalition candidate for Wellington Central, will address the electors at the Victoria Hall, Adelaide road, next Friday, at, 8 p.m. Other meetings announced by the- candidate are: Saturday, St. Mark's Hall, Dufferin street; Tuesday, 24th November, Kent Terrace Presbyterian Schoolroom; Thursday, 26tli November, Cambridge Terrace Congregational Schoolroom; and Friday, 27th November, at St. Peter's Hall. Mr. Will Appleton, official Coalition candidate for Wellington South, will address electors to-night at the Masonic Hall, Berhampore, at 8 o'clock. Furthor meetings are on 23rd November at the Masonic Hall, Island Bay; 25tn November, at St. Thomas's Hall, Newtown; and on 26th November, at the schoolroom, Ohiro Bay. Mr. T. Brindle, Labour candidate for Wellington Suburbs, and Mr. P. Fraser, Labour candidate for Wellington Central, will.address a meeting at the tram terminus, Aro street, this evening. Mr. E. Semple, Labour candidate for Wellington East, will address a meeting of electors this evening in the Seaside Pictures Theatre, Lyall Bay. Mr. B. M'Keen, Labour candidate) for Wellington South, will address a meeting of electors in St. Thomas's Schoolroom this evening. Mr. P. J* 0 'Regan will preside. Mr. C. H. Chapman, Labour candidato for Wellington North, will address a meeting of electors tHs evening in Te Aro School, Willis street. Mr. Chapman advises his friends and supporters that his committee rooms are at 18, Molesworth street. A meeting of young pcoplo supporters of the Coalition will be held in the Reform Club at the corner of Panama and Featherston streets on Thursday, at 7.30 p.m. The object is to assist tho Coalition candidates. Mr. K. M'Lennan, the Independent candidate for Wellington Suburbs, will address the electors in the Karori Council Chambers to-night at 8 o'clock. Mr. James Thorn, Labour candidate for Otaki, will address meetings at 8 p.m. as follows: —Ohau, Public Hall, tonight; Manakau, Town Hall, Thursday; Pahautanui, Friday. Mr. James Kerr, Coalition candidate, will open his campaign in • the Alicetown Congregational Hall at 8 p.m. tomorrow, and will address meetings in tho Wilford School on Friday, and in tho 'Empiro Theatre, Petanc, on Monday next. Mr. Walter Nash, Labour candidate, will address meetings in tho Potone Labour Hall to-night, the King George Theatre, Lower Hutt, to-morrow, and tho Crown Theatre, Eastbourne, on Friday, all meetings commencing at 8 p.m. Mr. E. "A. Wright, Coalition candidate for Wellington Suburbs, will address the olectors at the Methodist. Hall, Northland, to-night, and at the Town Hall, Ngaio, to-morrow night.
