(By Telegraph.—Press. Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day.; Mr. J. B. Donald presided at the Coalition candidate's meeting in Auckland East last night. A member of the audience asked whether.Mr. Forbes or Mr. Coatcs would be Prime Minister if the Coalition wore elected. ■ "I will not put that question to tho candidate," said Mr. Donald. cause Mr. Forbes is tho Primo Minister, and in the event of a change of leadership being sought we will have another election. I think the qitestion can be answered that way." . ; AGREEMENT UNLIKELY. It now appears certain that no, agreement -will be reached between the United and Reform local executives regarding Coalition' candidates for the Auckland West and Auckland East seats. Mr. Mackenzie, United, opened his campaign last night, and'was considerably, heckled by Labour sympathisers. Mr. Allum, Reform, has been campaigning for soriie time. .' .■■■ ,-■ -■■ t.
