Rovers.—A combined ■week-end camp was held at Whare-a-parone by ■members of the Ist Wellington City Hovers, commencing last Saturday afternoon. The crew system of catering and conducting their own shop was a feature of the camp. Organised camp raiding was conducted on Saturday evening until 0.30 p.m. under ideal weather conditions. A Maori stockade is being erected around Whare-a-parone, and native plants freely transplanted outside the enclosure and protected from straying cattle. Crew kitchens with numerous gadgets are coining into existence, and it is hoped that these combined gatherings will' be held at least once a month throughout the summer. On Sunday a party of Brown Owls and -Rangers visited the wharc, and in the afternoon joined the service. The lesson was read by Rovermate J. K. Harris, and the tenth Scout law was the
subject of an address. Next Saturday m-ening the ."Rovers as a division of the St. John Ambulance will hold their annual inspection. . Kindly forward notes to "bcoutery P.O. Bos 1261, first mail Monday,
