DANGERS EMPHASISED
\ (Times Cable.) LONDON, 16th November. | \ Lord Carson, Lord Dancsfort, Colonel J. Grctton, M.P., and Mr. A. A.' j Somerville, M.P., in a lei^er apropos tho second reading of the Statuto of Westminster, contend that if the statute enables the IVee State to abolish appeal to the Privy Council, there is nothing to prevent it from tearing up tho whole of the Anglo-Irish Treaty,. They add: "Loyalists regard the Privy Council as not only a safeguard, but as the last tangiblo link binding the IVee State to the Empire." They urge that the Anglo-Irish Treaty rights should be expressly reserved from the operation of JPreo State legislation. Professor J. 11. Morgan will address a joint meeting of Peers and members of the Houso of Commons on'this subject to-day.
