MR. M'LENNAN AT MORNINGTON
Mr. Kenneth M'Lennan, the Independent candidate for Wellington Sub : urbs, addressed the electors at Mornington last night. Through a slight misunderstanding in connection with the location of the hall many of the electors from Vogeltown were unable to be present, but Mr. M'Lennan announced that he would speak' at Vogeltown before tho close of'tho campaign.
The candidate expressed his thanks to the electors of the district for the wonderful support they had accorded him at the Jast General Election when he came among them as a comparative stranger, but felt suro that now he was better known ho, would carry greater confidence in tho present election. Matters of current political interest, including unemployment, taxation, finance, education, etc., were dealt with, and the meeting was thrown open >for discussion.
Many questions were put to the candidate, who was heartily thanked for his address.
