INVEECABGILL, 12th Nov.

At,a meeting of supporters of Mr. W. M'Chesney to-night the candidate announced himself as standing in the Liberal interests. He said that he would support the Coalition Government on a vote of no-confidence, but reserved the right to vote as he desired on all other matters.

It is understood that Colonel Hargest will carry the Eeform banner for Invereargill. Mr. W. C. Denham is the Labour candidate.
