• The final of the V.M.C.A. billiards championship for the A. E. Donoghue Cup was decided on' Tuesday night in the association's billiard • room, the finalists being Messrs. G. Perry and A. H. Eaton. A very even game was won by Perry, 200----187. The .championship, which js contested bi-annually, attracted 64 entries. After the match Mri Len J.- Greenberg, general secretary of the association, presented the cup'to the winner,.'and also handed the N. Donoghue trophy, for the highest break in tourney matches; to A. H. Eaton (37). Mr. Angus Duncan, New Zealand amateur champion,' acted as marker for the match. It was announced that Mr. Duncan would play an exhibition match at the association's Christmas conversazione, on Bth and 9th December.' During the evening a tournament was played between teams of V.M.C.A.1 members, representing New Zealand v. The Eest of the World. The Rest won 12' games (1683 points) against New Zealand 9 games .(1508 points).
