TRAINER LORIGAN
TO COME TO AUSTRALIA (From "Vedette.") SYDNEY, sth November. For some time past, the Wellington trainer, H. B. Lorigan, has had a hankering for Australia, and he has now announced his intention of takingl up permanent residence in Melbourne. Negotiations have been proceeding for some time in regard.to a position in Brisbane, but they have apparently fallen through in favour of Melbourne. Lorigan returns to Sydney next week and will take his horses, back to New Zealand. Concen-trate*-may not be fit to travel, but it is thought probable, for 'he is _ improving after being very lame after his third in the .Melbourne Cup. ; Lorigan. plans .to return to . Australia early in the year, if he can wind up his New Zealand affairs in the time. ■
