MOTORISTS CHARGED

A HEAVY FINE (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) HAMILTON, 11th November. In the Magistrate's Court, Harold Edwin Martin (3(5), a married man, a garage proprietor at Te Kuiti, was Sued £50 for being drunk in charge of. a car. The case arose out of an accident in which an old man was knocked down and injured by the defendant. Ernest Wileoek (20) anl George James Palmer (19) were fined £20 respectively on a charge of conversion of a motor-car, and ordered to make good damage amounting to &Z7.
