SOUTH AFRICAN TEAM THE PROPOSED VISIT (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, 10th November. The secretary of the New Zealand Cricket Council to-day received from Mr. Tandy, manager of the South African touring team in Australia, the following cable message: "Cable received; visit also subject approval South. Africa, with whom communicating. Appears possible' team arrive Auckland 23rd February, leave Auckland 11th March." Referring to the matter at a meeting 01 the New Zealand Cricket Council to-night, Mr W H. Winspr snid.it looked as it only two matches would be played in New Zealand.
