THE BAKERS' AWARD (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, 11th November. The Arbitration Court heard an application to-day by the Bakers' and Pastrycooks' Union for exemption from the operation of the general order involving a reduction of 10 per ■ cent, in wages. At the end of the hearing Mr. Justice Frazer said that this finished the round of applications by the bakers' unions in New Zealand, and the court ought to bo able to announce its decision shortly and get out a new award.
